Exhibit: lady’s apron, worn as part of formal dress, made of white fabric, trapezium shaped, with straps. This item was made by and belonged to Karolina Futoma from Pantalowice (1892-1969). Apron edges trimmed using white crocheted lace. Geometric floral pattern strips are embroidered on the bottom section. Red and blue cross-stitch. 5 different small rosette shapes were used for this 15 rosette-long pattern. Rosette, centred, geometric: four oval-like petal flower motifs, with four floral flagella arranged alternately with petals; shape reminiscent of a crystalline snowflake. Small rosette dimensions 25 mm x 25 mm.
