Katana jacket 002
A shirt, part of a Rzeszów folk costume, made out of white machine-made fabric. Gently in-cut at the waist, progressively wider towards the bottom. Long, straight sleeves. Fastened at the neck using white buttons. Trim applied around the neckline. A band of flat and stem stitch embroidery featuring whitework and cutwork technique on the front, at the bottom and on the sleeves. Scalloped bottom edge. A decorative trim runs along one edge of the placket. Continuous floral pattern mainly comprising knapweeds, tulips, thistle and vine leaves is arranged into fantastic compositions.
