Pot 003

Pot 003

A clay pot, shaped on a potter’s wheel, with an egg-shaped body, an out-turned lip and a clearly defined base. The pot is glazed both inside and outside. It features two handles symmetrically aligned on two sides of the lip.

Below the lip, there are thin decorative grooves running around the entire circumference parallel to the lip edge.
The body features a repeat decorative pattern applied in colour coatings - light and green. It comprises a green tear shape and its mirror image. Each tear is highlighted by a wide light contour parallel to its outer edge, with the right-hand contour ending in a large light dot. On the right and left of the axis of symmetry, there are vertical lines formed by round light spots - three on top and two on the bottom.
