Apron 013

Apron 013

An apron made of white cotton linen, with a sewn-on frill decorated with a white ribbon. Decorated with flat embroidery made with blue and red cotton threads with a knitted stitch, string, diagonal and straight satin.
Small decorative elements are inspired by real flowers but have not been directly transferred to the linen, but creatively transformed, creating schematic floral motifs.
The pattern runs along the edges of the apron and consists of stylized cornflower, fuchsia, spikes and five-petal flowers, as well as stalks with leaves. Red and blue threads are used alternately: if the centre of the flower is red, the petals are blue, and vice versa.
The bottom of the apron is serrated in such a way that one serration is finished with red thread and the other with blue thread. There is a dot in each serration (there is a red dot in the serration with a blue thread, and vice versa).
