Apron 012

Apron 012

The apron made by Zofia Mścisz is part of a woman's attire; put on the skirt and tied at the waist at the back. These are two strips of bleached linen sewn in the middle, crinkled at the top and sewn into a trimming that changes into strings for tying.
The bottom edge of the apron is straight, lined with a strip. Above it, is an embroidery decoration in the form of a stripe. On the fabric strip, with four pintucks at the bottom, and three at the top, sewn by a backstitch, there is a decoration embroidered with white thread in the form of two overlapping wavy lines forming a row of eights connected to each other, having the nature of a twig with small leaves on both sides. Each field between the intersections of the lines is decorated with a small, five-petalled flower.
All decorations are embroidered with white thread.
