Woman's shirt for a festive outfit. Made by hand from white linen, the design with squares of fabric on the upper part for the arms, crinkled. The embroidery is made on the collar, pleat along the fastener, squares on arms and cuffs, and red colour.
The collar is round in shape with truncated front corners. The edges are cut into small serrations, accentuated by a double row of small holes. Both corners of the collar are decorated with two angled twigs. There is a flower in the opening - a rosette made of holes. Next, there is a pattern of identical six-petalled rosettes with full petals, alternately small and large. Full embroidery on the squares on arms: inverted hanging arches - twigs with triangular leaves. The edges of the cuffs are finished with small serrations accentuated by a double sequence of holes. Ornament: a stiff plant twig with a rosette made of holes and a vertical twig. This pattern is repeated on both cuffs. The placket is made of a double material. The edges of the placket are finished with haberdashery serrations. The field inside is decorated with an s-shaped twig with oval petals - a twig motif. At the bends of the line, there is a tiny rosette: a hole surrounded by five dots.
The red colour of embroidery was traditionally used by brides and young married women. Traditionally, the motifs of twigs and rosettes had a protective as well as magical-fertility meaning.
