Jug 003

Jug 003

S-shaped vessel, high collar, slightly tilted outwards, turning into a narrow, short necking, ovoid belly, flat bottom with a distinct foot. A marked beak at the edge of the collar, a tape-shaped ear attached to the base of the collar and the belly.
The collar is decorated with six designs of stylized flowers painted with small dots (7 white dots outside, one green in the middle). On the belly, there are three three-arm decoration patterns, each composed of a centrally painted green dot, around which there are three white "snail" spirals and three symmetrical white and green palmettes. The whole vessel is glazed with transparent glaze, bisque-based bottom.
The pattern is a compilation of an archaic palmette pattern, painted in lines, with a spiral pattern, which is traditionally a solar symbol.
