Bonnet 001
The bonnet is made of green silk satin, trimmed with red cloth. Decorated with an application (a type of decoration consisting of sewing fragments of other fabric or leather with decorative or covered stitch to the background) of cloth, silk and velvet in blue, navy blue and red, and sewn-in with white and silver beads and silver sequins, as well as silk embroidery. The stitches used are chain, string, Zakopane cross and a twig.
In the central part of the bonnet, a red heart is sewn with a light green thread. They are surrounded by fragments of fabrics cut into circles (navy blue and red) and rectangles (blue). Each of them is surrounded and decorated with sequins and beads. The beads are always arranged in the central part of the sequin.
The heart motif (most often found on bonnets from the Rzeszów area) also appeared in the version embroidered on scarves and corsets.
